Applesauce Muffins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease muffin pan or 2 5x9 bread pans.

Batter
1 1/2 c. wheat flour
1 c. oats
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. milk (I use powdered instead of fresh)
1/4 c. canola oil
1 egg (I use egg powder and don't add extra liquid for it)

Mix dry ingredients well, then add wet ingredients. Pour into prepared pans.

Topping
2/3 c. oats
1/4 c. sugar, granulated or brown
1 t. cinnamon
2 T. canola oil

Mix well and sprinkle on top of muffins or loaves. Bake muffins 18-20 minutes, loaves 25-30 minutes, or until done. Enjoy!

They are good, but I've tweaked the recipe a little from the original. It uses more of the BASIC's like all wheat flour, powdered milk, and powdered eggs. Enjoy!
