Here is a picture of poor Alex after his "peanut" surgery. When we got in Primary Children's, we made a terrible discovery! Jake had left the camera out in the car! So, we didn't get any pre-surgery pics. After surgery and seven hours in the hospital, Alex was just as happy-go-lucky as ever. I am so thankfull for medicine; and, I'm sure he is too! He just doesn't know it.

Here is Alex with Dr. Devries. She's the doctor who performed the surgery. I liked her.

Although these pictures were taken at his check-up, within days of the surgery, if you didn't know he'd had it, you'd never know. He was a good sport throughout recovery and
quickly figured out how to crawl.
